The Bobcats and Tomcats will all be at their home court, the Dome at Holywells High School, on Sunday the 19t September, when the press will be in attendance as well as the club's own photographers, for the annual Press Day which heralds the season's beginning.

This weekend sees the arrival of a team of u18 boys from Bladel Basketball Club in the Netherlands to Ipswich. The link comes through coach and school teacher Kirk Bonas who has known Dutch basketball coach Bert en Renske for eight years now.

Even setting off at 3.30 wasn't good enough to get a bus full of Bobcats round the M25 in time for a 7pm tip off as GB Women faced Ukraine.  The Friday night rush hour was augmented by cars on fire and broken down lorries - with roadworks mixed in!  We eventually staggered in at half time and the scoreboard showed a low scoring first half - GB trailed 21 - 25.

Ipswich Basketball Academy's fixtures for 2010/11 have been released.  The mid week games will see the Academy travel throughout the east and midlands as they complete their fourteen games.
