On Sunday, the u18 Tomcats travelled to Cambridge to take on the Cats. Cambridge has improved since our initial meeting at the beginning of the season. Coach Clint Wedderburn has done a great job with the Cats, making it difficult for opposing teams to play them. And Sunday was no exception.

Last year you all collected approximately 3000 vouchers from Tesco and we used them to get a first aid kit for the u16 Tomcats and 5 stop watches.

With the success the club has enjoyed over the past few years in producing quality teams at the national level, we will be entering a senior men’s team for the 2010-2011 season.

Ipswich Tomcats u18s hosted Hertfordshire Warriors on Saturday in their first home game of 2010 against a Hertfordshire side that are currently 3^rd in the league and looking to make a strong playoff push. Ipswich was missing a couple of players in Jack Daley and Joe Shaju who were unavailable but had 8 players with Tyme Regent-Bascombe making his season debut.
