Ipswich Basketball Club will kick off the 2010/11 season in style by holding a three day basketball coaching clinic & workshop to be run by former NCAA, NBA and current WNBA coaches.

"The One Clinic" will take place on Wed 27th, Thu 28th and Fri 29th October 2010 at Suffolk One, the county's newest learning centre for 16 to 19 year olds in Belstead, South Ipswich.

The Clinic is open to all coaches, from beginners to advanced and players interested in coaching styles and techniques.

This is an amazing opportunity to work with top coaches who have been involved at the highest level of the sport in the United States.

The first two days will be all about SOS defence - including building a team offensive segment,  whilst the third day will concentrate on basketball fundamentals.

Ipswich Basketball Club has been developing youth basketball in Suffolk since 1976 and has invited the coaches to England as part of their ongoing youth development strategy. 

Last season the club had no fewer than eight teams competing at National League level and the 2010/11 season will see the introduction of the club's first ever Senior Men's National League team.
