The senior Tomcats held an open trial back in February to gauge the interest of players within the region to play for the senior men’s team. While we were able to select committed players from the initial open trial, many potential players who could strengthen the current selection, were still actively engaged in their respective playing commitments either with national league clubs outside the region or with their own local league clubs.

The Tomcat fans arrived in Sheffield in anticipation of a great days basketball taking on Cheshire Jets in their semi final game. It was a nervous start for both teams as the ball got turned over at both ends.

The senior Tomcats are sharpening their claws with their gaze fixed to pounce at the start of the England Basketball Division 4, 2010-11 season.

With the exciting prospect of having senior national league basketball on Saturday evenings in Ipswich, we are in need of some big game keepers to help us put a well presented squad on the hardwood.
